hardly follows general trends due to fluctuations in temperatures. May 14 in SC @ 5:30 am 42 degrees.  I usually plant  okra when Farmers plant cotton as both are in same plant family, however, since I planted a first rows planting ( I always split time of planting for insurance against weather or diseases) I have not seen a single cotyledon or even a first true leaf to arise.
